Role
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is keen to become part of our Manufacturing division located in Chester Hill.
The person must be a self motivated team player with a proactive and positive approach.
The main function of this role is to attend to mechanical breakdowns, repairs and set-ups in a safe and timely manner, while identifying areas for improvement across the plant.
Key Skills:
- Have exposure to hydraulic & pneumatic control
- Have knowledge about the extrusion, printing & converting industry
- Knowledge of refrigeration plant & airconditioning
- Experience in a FMCG production environment
- Fault finding capability of Rexroth/Parker/Siemens PLC's/Drives
- Hold a current Electrical & Electrical & Electrical Supervisors licence
- Hold HV switchgear operation licence/ticket
- Hold a current forklift licence
Duties:
- Ensure compliance with WHS Act & Regulations
- Advise of alternative solutions when necessary
- Maintain accurate records on all work performed
- Purchase spares as required and maintain stock inventory
- Prepare major maintenance program to be carried out during shutdown periods including:
- Normal servicing of machines, as required
- Plan the completion of outstanding "Maintenance Requests"
- Modifications to machinery targeted for upgrading or replacement.
The successful applicant will enjoy working in a fast paced team environment, with the skills to set priorities, accommodate various workloads, be timely and meet daily deadlines. Attention to detail, professional manner, reliability, flexibility and good communication skills are critical to this role.
This role requires reasonable additional hours to be performed outside of assigned regular working hours.
