PLC Programmer / Installation Engineer – Graduate Position
A fantastic opportunity to commence employment following graduation in November 2018
Automated Solutions Australia is located in Yarraville, Melbourne. We have an exciting opportunity for a recently graduated or graduating electrical, mechatronics or computer science engineer to join our dynamic team working as a Controls/Automation Engineer. Automated Solutions Australia design, build, install and maintain general industry and robotic dispensing automation systems within Australia and across the globe.
The successful candidate will need the following attributes, as well as a desire to become a specialised Robot Installation Engineer:
Excellent Customer Relationship skills ·
Mechanical & Electrical Technical Aptitude ·
Be competent in translating technical information ·
Excellent verbal and written communication skills ·
Able to communicate at all levels ·
Strong Computer skills ·
Commitment & Flexibility ·
Willingness to work weekends and shift work on occasions ·
We're looking for candidates that have technical competencies or demonstrated ability to learn the following:
PLC Programming: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, etc
HMI/SCADA: Factory talk, Ignition
CAD: AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor
Robotic programming
Familiarity with Windows OS, VB.net, Python, Java, SQL
Process documentation, operational manuals and risk assessments
The candidate will also exhibit a confident, proactive and consultative approach, along with the ability to form strong business relationships. This is a hands-on role, and full training will be provided, with significant domestic and overseas travel opportunities. Based in Yarraville, Melbourne, we welcome interstate candidates to apply that are willing to relocate.
Suitably qualified individuals and class of 2018 graduating students with an Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer Science Engineering background, with a strong interest in Robotics, are encouraged to apply, however experience is not required.
