Senior Civil Designer

It's a new position to this highly successful business, and unlike many 'designer' positions, it's not a pure office based design role - so it's ideal for a specialist Land Development Designer wanting to take on greater responsibility for project management and delivery. 

The Business
Our client is a dynamic business, well established in the market, and with an ever increasing clientele and project base. Their civil business has grown both in size, and project workload under the guidance of a highly successful land development leader, and as part of a recent strategic business planning exercise they have identified a need for an additional Senior Civil Designer to lead designs, manage projects and act as a technical design leader in the business.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to hands on design, project management, quality assurance within the office, checking of plans/documentation and mentoring/training of a growing team. There isn't a more refreshing business in town to step into your management career.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Relevant Civil Engineering qualifications; 7 years + experience designing urban and/or commercial development projects within Australia; highly advanced 12D and/or Civil 3D skills essential
• Proven design and project management experience highly regarded
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Quality focus and commitment to mentoring and training
