As a GHD Vacation Student you will be given the opportunity to learn more about your area of interest with hands-on experience and exposure to a diverse range of projects.  You will learn and work alongside talented professionals as part of a dynamic consultancy. The GHD Vacation Student Program is an ideal stepping-stone to join the GHD Graduate Program at the conclusion of your studies.
 
The Vacation Student Program will include a thorough induction to GHD, networking opportunities and team-building activities. We provide training to facilitate skill development and knowledge transfer with regular feedback sessions. By the end of your program, you will have a greater understanding of the diversity of a professional services consultancy and delivering services for a variety of clients.
 
Who are we looking for?
Our Western Australia offices are looking for enthusiastic individuals, completing degrees in the following areas:

  • Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical/I&C, Chemical or Extractive Metallurgy, Geotechnical, Geology)
  • Environmental, Spatial Sciences and Earth Sciences
  • Landscape Architect
Vacation students can work in our Perth, Bunbury, Albany, Geraldton or Karratha offices.
 
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Be in your penultimate year of studies
  • Have a genuine curiosity about your field of studies
  • Have proficient communication skills
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • Have an interest in the consulting environment
