GHD is growing its power practice and require a talented Engineer with passion and experience to embrace key opportunities, engage with existing projects and meet targeted expansion within the Power Sector in Australia and globally. The opportunity is available for a senior Power Professional with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in engineering, technical, design, project or construction management within generation, transmission or distribution of power and industrial electrical fields. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a professional and friendly team with strong pipeline of diverse projects.

Your success will be supported by your ability to consistently demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience in Renewable (wind/solar) energy projects will be viewed favourably
• Proven understanding of the NEM and generator connection procedures
• Proven design/design management experience in Transmission and Distribution Utility projects (Primary or Secondary Systems)
• Experience with front end engineering services
• Relevant Electrical Engineer with experience in power system analysis and planning
• Proven commercial acumen and strong business development awareness
• Technical delivery over a range of projects
• Strong project development capabilities
• A mature network of engineering professionals within the power sector
