About the role.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for Testing and Certification engineer to conduct testing and validation of imported vehicles into Australia both new and used. This involves development of Evidence Packages, SOP’s, conduction ADR’s testing and developing/improving test procedures.
Responsibilities
The main roles and responsibilities of this job roles will be as below:
Vehicle assessment for homologation in accordance to Australian Design Rules (ADR’s).
Conduct/Supervise testing create test reports and analyses data accurately.
Liaise with the Department of Transport and internal/external clients at certain levels.
Supporting other functions of the business.
Keeping and maintaining the quality systems in accordance to ISO 9001
Requirements
To be successful in this role an ideal candidate will demonstrate the below skills.
A degree qualified mechanical or automotive engineer.
A sound understanding of mechanical systems and automotive systems.
Self-driven, motivated and determined.
A passion for automotive industry.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
High computer literary and goof working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Desirable Skills and experience
Previous testing or product validation experience in mechanical or automotive industry.
Knowledge of ADR’s and ECE Regulations.
