As well as rail transport, we also offer solutions in airport logistics, postal automation, and intelligent transport technologies.

The Siemens Mobility division has an opportunity for an experienced Data Science Implementation Manager to join our Customer Services team located in Perth, WA. This role is responsible for data science and customer interaction topics as well as knowledge transfer and coaching of technology and analytics topics between Australia and the global team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Customer workshops together with the sales team including making analytics/technology recommendations/solutions of identified issues and the subsequent agile development of the analytics solution/application together with the customer
External presentations of digitalization and data analytics topics
Co-creation activities with customers
Responsible for identification of additional/adjacent use cases together with customers and their technical design
Management of the technical resources (from data engineering to visualization) in the analytics center
Responsible for the prioritisation of technical activities in alignment with business demand planning

To be considered for this role you will have the following:

Hold a relevant tertiary qualification or Engineering Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science
Experience in AWS
Extensive experience with Analytics in electro-mechanical, electrical and electronic safety critical systems
Proven management experience
Proven problem solving abilities
Experience within the rail industry desirable
