The Company

They are a privately owned Australian Engineering Consultancy providing services Nationally in ESD, Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Fire.

Their belief in sustainable design and resource conservation are key aspects of modern construction. They actively promote both reliance on, and efficient use of renewable resources, as well as conservation of non-renewable resources wherever possible. 

Their team of seasoned engineers are Green Star Accredited Professionals. They apply environmentally friendly principles to all of the projects they are involved in.
 

The Role

• Carrying out assigned ESD Engineering activities within the team from project start-up to project close-out
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard, consistency of work quality and that all work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes and standards, procedures and the basis of design
• Communicate ESD solutions to stakeholders verbally and in written form
• Managing assigned work to meet project needs and proactively working with other team members to ensure that project goals are met

The Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Sustainability or similar field
• Experience in Section J commercial energy efficiency assessments (DTS and JV3)
• Experience in dynamic energy simulation packages, such as IES-VE
• Report writing / presentation skills
• Additional ESD accreditations: Green Star, ABSA/BDAV, LEED and NABERS/CBD (desirable)
