Senior Associate - Mechanical
Location: Sydney
Salary: $150k - $200k + super (depending on experience)

Overview
Mission Critical Recruitment have been retained to seek a first class mechanical engineer with a strong background in the design and delivery of data centre facilities.

Working in a lead capacity, you will initially take ownership, from a mechanical perspective, of existing greenfield design projects up to $400m in construction value. On a wider basis, you will aide in the bid process for new data centre projects, conceptualising designs from a blank canvass, walking the clients through potential solutions in order to put a winning solution together.

This role will see you working with some of the largest names in the data centre and cloud industries, in a role capacity which can give you a pathway to directorship and equity within the business.

For the right candidate, overseas work may be available

Key Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering, chartership preferred but not essential
• 5+ years experience in the design of data centre projects
• Like for like consulting experience is essential
• Ability to design mechanical solutions from a blank canvass
• Ability to engage, present and influence clients up to C Level
• Ambitious to climb to Director level within a highly respected business
