Client & Engineer:

Large engineering company, engineer and manufacture several diverse products, employ more than 5000 across the globe are looking to hire a Systems Engineer. 

Leading operational research, systems engineering, financial engineering you will work closely with the team to assist and help optimize complex processes and systems to eliminate material waste, machine time, reduce budgets / money, time that do not generate value to the business.  An opportunity that sits within the corporate team, perfect for an individual that’s been more focussed on discrete and technical components (electromechanical, electronic, mechatronic exposure) as opposed to a lean / FMCG environment, would suit a passionate, enthusiastic individual looking for a new challenge, immediate start.  


Daily, your role will involve:

• Develop, improve and implement integrated systems
• Operational research  
• Create engineering processes and systems that will improve quality and productivity
• Revise, amend and create new Routings, Production Routings on the manufacturing shop floor
• Create a more efficient list of routing tasks within the manufacturing process which will then lead to cost reduction
• Involvement with Electromechanical, mechatronic, or electronic engineering (discrete components)
• Work to eliminate waste of time, money, materials, person hours on the shop floor
• Walk the shop floor, talk to professionals in the factory to help improve overall plant efficiency
• Identify, evaluate and recommend changes or improvements to material and inventory control, evaluating operational cost  
• Financial Engineering  
• Ergonomics / human factors engineering
