Position
The role will involve the following key activities:

• Hands-on engineering investigations and structural assessments
• Peer reviews of engineering calculations and reports
• Structural analysis using SpaceGASS software
• Preparation of structural design reports and certifications
• Managing design budgets
• Preparation of proposals, tenders and estimates
• Technical support in multi-disciplinary projects and to other areas of the business
• Mentoring team members

About You
To be successful, you will possess the following:

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• 10 years’ heavy industry experience
• CPEng qualification
• Experience in design analysis
• Solid experience with design software such as SpaceGASS (Strand7 an advantage)
• Sound understanding of Australian structural codes
• Engineering investigation and report writing experience
• Experience in management of design budgets
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Current drivers license

The following would be advantageous:

• Experience in consulting and/or manufacturing environments
• RPEQ qualification
• Local experience
