Your new company
My client is a well-established business in the Building Services industry, having a strong hold on the Australian market. Their project range is quite broad, including office fit-outs, retail stores, healthcare, education, and public sector to name a few. They are conveniently located close to the Brisbane CBD near restaurants, amenities, and public transport. After many years of operation, they have developed a cohesive and streamlined process and are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to join their Brisbane team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Directors, you will work on varying projects within the Building Services space, applying your
expert Hydraulics knowledge. You will assist in leading projects from concept to completion. It is crucial in this role to ensure all necessary administration procedures are carried out to achieve on-time delivery of projects. You will also be required to attend site visits, head up client and contractor meetings, and complete all necessary communications with stakeholders. You will be required to work both independently and in a team environment, supported by the Brisbane team and interstate to provide high quality service.
What you'll need to succeed
- Tertiary qualifications in Hydraulic Engineering or equivalent;
- Hydraulic Design experience particularly in the Building Services sector;
- Current knowledge of the BCA and applying it to Building Services projects;
- Knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD and Revit MEP;
- Demonstrated track record in project delivery;
- High level of attention to detail;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
