As one of Melbourne's most respected specialist medium sized Traffic and Transport Engineering and Planning consultancies our client delivers world class projects and nurtures careers and produces some of the most highly talented professionals working today. We are currently assisting them in the search for a Senior Traffic Engineer to join their established team. Would also consider someone (provided that their experience was in a consultancy, locally) with 5+ years' experience.
As an experienced traffic professional your responsibilities will include undertaking a range of traffic engineering and transport planning studies for a variety of private and public clients on a broad range of traffic issues, town planning applications, design and analysis, traffic studies, traffic impact assessments road safety projects, public transport and some traffic design. You will also prepare fee proposals and generate reports. As a senior member of the group you will also have the opportunity to assist in the management and mentoring of a team of engineers.
You will be joining a close knit team of engineers that understand the needs of their clients and value the importance of projects being delivered on time and on budget.
You will be highly organised, motivated and possess excellent communication skills and be the type of candidate that can maintain key relationships and create new ones.
Relevant skills and qualifications required are tertiary qualifications in civil engineering (or similar), experience using AutoCAD would be highly regarded.
