Immediate need for a development assessment officer, Gold Coast
Your new company
As one of the largest employers in South East QLD this client is currently experiencing a period of growth. With region growth at an all time high and a healthy forecast this role is initially a 6 month contract with expected ongoing work
Your new role
This role will see you liaising with internal stakeholders and assessing development applications to ensure that the business' desired standard of service is met and ensuring development outcomes are provided in accordance with City Plan policies and the Planning Act.
You will provide specialist advice to developers on the development process and desired standards to achieve high quality development outcomes. During the development process you will ensure the employers interests are protected while both State and Federal legislation, policies and strategies are reflected in the assessments.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will be highly self motivated with strong communication in both verbal and written applications. You will have good stakeholder engagement and hold Engineering qualifications or reasonable relevant experience. You will be capable of managing multiple jobs at any one time and maintain a high level of quality and accuracy across your work while multitasking.
