Our client is an international provider of comprehensive renewable energy, who are seeking an Experienced Business Development Manager to contribute towards deploying large scale solar, wind development in Australia and be part of their growing development team. They are constantly innovating to make a difference for their customers, employees and the whole renewables industry.
About the role:
You will be an integral part of the development team that supports the various stages of development of large scale solar farm projects- Site identification, Feasibility, Development stage and Financial close. Lead development through forging relationships with landowners to secure project sites, establish feasibility, constant interactions with councils and various stakeholders as required and support preparation of project reports/proposals to contribute towards tendering process.
About You:
Inorder to be successful in this role you must have:
- Experience in developing large scale renewable energy projects in Australia is required.
- A strong exposure to power systems will be highly valued.
- General understanding of renewable energy market trends and the resulting impacts on renewables project development
- Be open to travelling to site locations to meet landowners and evaluate sites.(May involve some international travel as well)
- Demonstrated efficiency in managing multi-disciplinary tasks and teams.
