About the Role

Provide remote product technical support and problem resolution capabilities to assist dealer customer support activities. Resolves advanced product problems using known information and personal knowledge.

Duties

  • Search, obtain and communicate known product information according to the Worldwide Customer Support Contact Management process using processes and tools to reduce product downtime.
  • Collaborate with global partners to resolve product issues and as required communicate with engineering to establish and provide recommendation to Dealer and Company personnel.
  • Provide assistance to Dealer and Company personnel, rigorously collaborate with internal business partners to define and clarify product performance issues.
  • Local travel may be required to assist dealers and/or customers with issue resolution and International travel may be required for training (the requirement for travel is not expected to exceed 15%).

Required Skills and Experiences

  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of products, customers, markets and competitors
  • Agricultural background and technical knowledge of equipment highly desirable
  • Customer support experience with customer interaction regarding products, parts and services
  • Technical experience relating to diagnostics of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems
  • Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience
