We are working closely with a number of leading consultancies in the mining space with several long term options available.
A requirement for a self-sufficient & motivated Structural Engineer has arisen to join the team. You will be working on a large-scale Iron ore works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out engineering designs and calculations for concrete and steel structures
- Prepare engineering specifications, design Basis and Scope of Work documents,
- Ensuring designs comply with applicable Australian and Study or Project specific Codes, Specifications, and Standards,
- Prepare accurate and detailed technical bid evaluations for equipment.
Key experience:
- Tertiary Engineering degree, or equivalent, (preferably of Structural discipline).
- Extensive exposure to the detailed design of Materials Handling equipment.
- 7 years+ mining experience is essential.
- Experience across varied types of commodities from gold through to iron ore would be favourable.
