Our client has supplied and installed over three hundred cameras for important projects such as tolling, police mobile units, surveillance, section control (point-to-point) speed enforcement, access control, weigh-in-motion identification and many industrial applications.
This role requires knowledge and experience with computers and their networking, covering hardware and software, common operating systems used in the monitoring and control of Fixed Digital Safety Camera Enforcement Systems and Automatic Number Plate Recognition Systems (FDSC and ANPR). This role has sent me around Australia visiting existing sites, auditing and designing the relocation of above road and road side camera sites with vendor specific software and using AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
- Program and test various mobile camera’s pre and post client issue
- Provide technical support for engineering tasks and issues
- Design of multidirectional ANPR brackets for gantry mounted enforcement systems
- Ensuring compliance with OHS&E standards on and off site
- Arrange site access permits, traffic management, elevated work platforms (EWP) acc Build and maintain solid relationships with stakeholders including clients, subcontractors and third party vendors
- Manage changing strategies, issues and risks, change requests and variations
- Write project plans and manage cost forecasting
- Test, repair and calibrate camera enforcement systems
- Perform data analysis utilising confluence software to determine established and prospective system faults
- Troubleshoot in office and on site (occasionally ad hoc)
- Day to day, scheduled and reactive maintenance of systems including electrical, mechanical and operational maintenance escalating issues to relevant personnel/client
- Daily camera systems review and reporting
