You will report to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager, and be an integral part of the maintenance team. This role will look at developing the reliability and maintenance of our state of the art manufacturing site by supporting our production and maintenance teams to correct and go through investigation of equipment failures to improve the quality, safety and cost throughout. This will require a thought out and effective forward plan and schedule for the maintenance and reliability program, to review and implement.
What will your next role look like?
- Development of a formal review and reporting system to evaluate maintenance needs;
- Maintenance and analysis of equipment data and equipment history records to predict maintenance needs
- Comprehensive condition monitoring program
- Life cycle management of equipment
- Adapt and Monitor the Corporate Preventative and Predictive maintenance program to ensure an effective and economically justified program is in place
- Technical advice to maintenance and partners.
- Ensure maintainability of new installations
- Identify and correct chronic and costly equipment problems, eliminate repetitive failure.
- Identify and lead small projects and problem solving
What ingredients do you need to be successful?
- Previous Reliability or Process Improvement experience; ideally within Food Manufacturing
- Strong technical expertise in a highly automated, fast-moving manufacturing environment
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (desirable); we will consider applicants with process, chemical or mechanical or engineering
- Ability to influence colleagues, negotiate with cross functional teams and build strong relationships
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, GMP and 5s
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite – including excel
- Ability to review and analyse equipment data
