The Role
AECOM currently has a newly created role for a skilled and experienced design and drafting resource to join the growing team, due to the increased workload from AusNet Services. This is an exciting time in the Power team due to this increased workload and a great time to join the team!
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Manage drafting outputs to ensure on time delivery.
- Drafting verification.
- Produce single line diagrams, secondary schematics, connection schedules.
- Quotation analysis.
- Review best practice to ensure efficiency.
- Mentor/support drafting team.
About You
- Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or >10-15 years relevant experience in electrical environments.
- HV design drafting experience preferred, 500kV, 220kV & 66kV.
- Strong technical expertise with experience in designing protection and control circuits.
- AusNet Services experience advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and meeting delivery requirements.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
- A strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn and a desire to work in a dynamic, deadline driven team environment.
- Timeliness and accuracy of completing tasks.
- AutoCAD software experience required
