Golding is currently seeking a Civil Graduate Engineer and Civil Site Engineer for a current project near Yamba. The successful candidates will be required to deliver project engineering works effectively in order to meet agreed scope, timeframe, budget, quality and safety standards. These are permanent full time positions reporting into the Project Manager on site. Full relocation assistance will be provided to non-local candidates. .
Key role tasks:
- Implement and monitor the project program in respect to engineering services
- Contribute towards quality assurance and inspection
- Develop and foster effective and regular communication with the Project Team including suppliers and clients
- Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the Quality Assurance, Environmental Management and Safety Management Plans and other relevant standards and legislation
- Complete reporting requirements for financial, operating and survey needs of the site
- Comply with Golding Contractors health and safety requirements and promote a work environment which reflects this behaviour
Key capability requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field are essential
- Practical knowledge in investigation, design and construction of civil works
- Well-developed communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal demonstrating the ability to interact with internal customers, external stakeholders and clients
- Ability to develop and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees, contractors and visitors
- Strong level of computer skills, including Microsoft, Suretrak / Primavera and AutoCAD applications
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote cohesive teamwork
- Personal flexibility to operate in a dynamic work environment
