We are currently seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer / Flood Modeller to join Entura on a permanent, full-time basis in Melbourne, VIC or Cambridge (Hobart), Tasmania.
You will work with highly regarded experts and thought leaders in our industry as part of a diverse team, supporting clients from offices in Australia, India, South East Asia, the Pacific and South Africa. This position may require some local, national, and international travel.
The Senior Water Resources Engineer/Flood Modeller provides technical delivery and management of projects including flood analysis and mitigation (hydrologic/hydraulic) and hydraulic design in Australia and/or overseas.
To be considered for this position you will have tertiary qualifications in engineering, extensive experience in hydraulics, investigation, design and modelling. Previous experience working in a consulting environment is preferred.
You are a true team player, able to lead teams engaged in design and site testing projects, and have a “can do” attitude. A good knowledge of computer software packages for engineering design and management support is also essential.
