The Role
GHD’s Dams and Tailings team is expanding. We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer with five to nine years’ experience to join our Dams and Tailings team in a fulltime position. The team provides highly valued services to water, industrial, energy and resources clients in Western Australia and elsewhere.
 
Key Responsibilities include:
 

• Engineering design of water and tailings dams
• Managing client relationships and projects
• Report writing, investigations, technical analysis and developing proposals
• Supporting projects as delegated from the Dams and Tailings team

 
To be successful in this role you will have the following capabilities and experience:
 

• A degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent
• Previous experience and/or a strong interest in dam engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent technical report writing skills
• Strong ability to create and maintain strong working relationships
• A passion and drive to deliver results
• High attention to detail with strong problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• A desire to work in a consultancy

The salary package for this role ranges from $85,000 to $115,000 per annum. Salary commensurate with experience.
