This is an immediate opportunity to develop your career at a market leading, international engineering consultancy. Based in the CBD, our client is a market leader in rail engineering and is currently seeking a Principal Rail Signalling Engineer / Designer to join their established team.
  
Employed as a Principal Signalling Engineer in their rail group, you will contribute to the successful completion of a range of rail projects based throughout Australia and Internationally
  
You will be responsible for:  

• The design and documentation of signal engineering designs, including signaling layouts and control tables, to client and industry standards
• Project management including client liaison and coordination of junior staff
• Checking  signalling designs completed by others
• Assisting in the commissioning of signalling systems and equipment

As the successful candidate, you will have:  

• 12 + years experience working as a signalling engineer / designer
• A relevant engineering degree with Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation, post grad qualifications an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A familiarity with engineering software, including AutoCAD
• Good time management skills and experience completing projects to specified time frames and budgets
• Strong background in the Australian Market
