PROJECT MANAGER

Global mining giant
6-18 month contract - flexible roster
Multiple projects to manage

Stellar Recruitment is working with a highly regarded global mining client to fill a Project Manager position. This position provides the opportunity to oversee and manage a range of onsite projects - from the construction of new crib areas to road upgrades.

To be considered for this position you possess the following:

A Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 8yrs post graduate experience in civil construction
Excellent communication skills
Exposure to the mining industry
An ability to identify project risks and mitigate accordingly
Experience in fabrication management and contracts management
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
A commitment to HSE management
Manage stakeholders including consultants and subcontractors
Manage and review claims and variations
An understanding of electrical/mechanical delivery aspects of projects
