- Salary in the range of $96,475 to $103,931 per annum excluding superannuation.

In the role of Senior Engineer (Traffic) you will manage the operational aspects of the road network. Elements that you will be responsible for range from sub-arterials through to freeways. In this role you will provide specialist technical expertise to specific sites and problems relating to the design, construction, maintenance and operation of the road network concentrating on the application of traffic signals and intelligent transport systems to improve capacity, reduce congestion and maintain safety.
To be considered for the role of Senior Engineer (Traffic) you will possess:
- Ability to review traffic assessment in road reports using active traffic management systems
- Develop and manage the delivery of programmed traffic improvement projects, including traffic signal associated works and minor works
- Provide high level technical advice and assistance on all aspects of network signalised and unsignalised intersections, active traffic management systems and network performance.
- Manage and maintain effective communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders on transport infrastructure delivery activities
- Experience in managing projects and demonstrated ability to plan, assign, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff.
