Project Manager with Rail Signalling Experience
SIGNALLING ENGINEER for Major Rail Project
Seeking qualified engineer having extensive experience in rail signalling. Immediate position to be filled with min 12 months employment.

The role rail Signalling Engineer / Project Manager is based in Adelaide, South Australia, where the roles include the following general tasks & duties:
- Reporting to the Principal's senior representative.
- Manage the Client's; Contractor's design and construction delivery of the rail project’s Signalling requirements (existing and new projects) in a safe, timely and cost effective manner comprising of a Program of Works or standalone packages, interface and coordinate with other related project disciplines across numerous projects.
- Manage, prepare, facilitate & review the various projects development and construction delivery including; designs, tendering, project plans, technical specifications, cost and delivery schedules, dashboard reports, field investigations, risk assessments, testing and commissioning, completion and handover including close out of punchlist items,
- Client and Stakeholder liaison including local community, monitor & review progress, approve claims, manage change requests / variations, weekly and monthly progress report writing.
- Manage and foster safety and environmental compliance against guidelines & best industry practices, including government acts, regulatory requirements, plans, procedures and systems. Mentoring of the client’s younger team members.
- Prepare and manage project contracts for multiple parcels of work using Australian Standard contracts (typically AS4300, AS4305, AS2124) including those using Alliance Contracting, prepare tenders, tender negotiate and award, manage progress payment, claims (eg: change request / variations, inclement weather, delays, etc).
- Review construction delivery methods and assess cost-effectiveness, plans, schedules, procedures, resourcing and plant levels, critical paths and milestones, review testing and commissioning plans, the contractor's quality documentation / systems, etc.
- Review, coordinate & facilitate work interfaces across whole of project activities both on and off site (brown or greenfield), review and approve test procedures / hold & witness points, completion of acceptance approvals / verifications, As-Built documentation, hand over certification, warranty completion and project closeout.
