ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Melbourne office is looking for an experienced Specialist Lighting Designer. It’s preferred that the successful candidate’s lighting experience is from one of the following industries, Electrical, Architectural, Interior Design or Industrial Design. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, demonstrates attention to detail, has competent communication skills and an enthusiasm to develop.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver creative lighting solutions
- Provide detailed lighting designs as required
- Attend client meetings and site inspections
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes, standards and procedures
- Ensure work is consistently completed to a high standard
- Adhere to professional standards, ethics and WGE quality procedures.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in delivering creative lighting solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience utilising Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Sketch up experience
- Proficient with AGI 32 & Dialux
- Experience using AutoCAD & Revit is desirable but not a pre-requisite
- Good presentation skills
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
- Previous experience in a similar role
