Bradken is a leading global manufacturer of innovative, custom engineered products for the mining, transport, contract manufacturing and general industrial markets. It operates a global network of manufacturing, sales and service facilities employing about 3,000 people.
The Project Engineer will be based at our foundry facility in Runcorn, Queensland and will be responsible for performing engineering activities for projects and tenders involved in the removal, transfer and re-installation of assets from the closure of the plant. This role requires AutoCAD drafting skills.
To be considered you will be degree qualified and hold a minimum of five years’ experience in the same or similar field
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Preparation of cost estimates for project quotations including definitions of project scope, commercial obligations and risk exposure.
- Ensuring all design work is carried out in an effective and professional manner and is compliant with all safety, environmental and legislative requirements.
- Control and preparation of project plans and management of individual projects from initial design and estimate through to completion.
- Planning and organisation of design activities to ensure that agreed time schedules and budgeted expenditures are met and company resources are efficiently utilized.
Prior to commencing employment you will be required to complete a psychometric assessment and a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
