Project Manager job, to work on Premier Road Projects. Plan, control and coordinate all phases of project delivery from concept, design, construction, commissioning, and handover of Intelligent Transport Systems - ITS projects to improve capacity and operability of existing and new roads in Australia.
The company is a blue chip global infrastructure services and projects player who has a heritage of successfully building high profile projects and running major asset management and operations contracts across Australia and internationally.
Based in Perth you will report to the National Manager ITS and have the support of technical experts (Engineering), Commercial and Financial Management. You will be assigned to projects at an early stage and take them from concept through design tender and construction to handover. Project scopes embrace control systems around controlling traffic flows lighting, variable messaging signs, CCTV, power systems, electrical, control, communication and network systems.
You are a successful Project Manager (on the vendor side of the contract), a tertiary qualified Electrical Engineer knowledgeable in the design, construction, maintenance and operation of Intelligent Traffic Systems, Systems Integration, as well as:
- Safety Management
- Commercial and Technical Risk Management
- Contract Management
- Road Systems Maintenance Practices and Management
- Successfully conducting project commercial and technical based negotiations with clients, consultants and subcontractors
