CST is a long established, market leading Australian owned company that manufacture conveyor belt weighing systems, primarily for the mining industry. We are looking for a trainee service technician to grow our well regarded WA service team. We are seeking a self-motivated person, with a grasp of mechanical and electrical fundamentals. 

The role is full time. The successful applicant must be happy to work away from home as much of the work is based on WA's various mine sites. Our technicians spend an average of 3-4 nights a week away from home, this may occasionally include swings of up to 14 days. 

CST will provide all the training you need for this role and but require people from a technical background.  

The successful candidate would have the following attributes and skills:

·        Customer service focused attitude 

·        Engineering knowledge with related qualification

·        Willingness to travel to mine sites

·        Experience with computers including Microsoft Word and Excel

·        Personable

·        Technical writing skills

·        Able to read mechanical and electrical drawings

You will require a current "C" driver's licence, be an Australian citizen or permanent resident and have the ability to pass a Pre Medical Employment Examination. You will be expected to pass D & A testing on a regular basis.
