ABOUT THE ROLE
Working with our busy Bunbury team and reporting to the design manager the successful candidate will be responsible for executing, monitoring, controlling and managing the coordination of all phases of the assigned project/projects within the RCR guidelines.
DUTIES
Liaise with the Client and Project Team on all project matters as directed by the Project Manager.
Electrical design and drafting to support RCR OEM Equipment in accordance with Australian Standards, Statutory Regulations and RCR Procedures.
Electrical calculations, drafting of SLDs, drafting of termination diagrams, drafting of block diagrams, drafting of panel layouts, instrument lists, equipment lists, and cable schedules.
Development of Scopes of Work for Electrical Sub-Contractors.
Management of Electrical Sub-Contractors.
Assist the Estimating team with costing and cost reviews of electrical equipment, and electrical sub-contractor quotations.
Assist with enquiries and proposals, including reviewing client documentation and providing a fit for purpose solution.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Excess of 5 years work history in an electrical design engineering environment.
- Tertiary Qualification.
- Knowledge in electrical engineering and design in the mining industry.
- Ability to converse with Client Engineers on a professional basis.
- Ability to resolve drawing and technical queries raised by Trades people.
