We are looking for you to strengthen our impact into the South Australian market and extend our expertise into new and emerging technologies within the rotating equipment environment. To do this, we are looking for a Sales and Project Engineer to join our team in Hindmarsh, Adelaide.
Your Key Responsibilities
- provide engineering support and after sales service for our distributors and end user customers, both theoretical and hands-on
- develop and implement sales call plans to ensure efficient and effective coverage of customers
- ensure all customer calls and information is updated in our CRM system on a regular basis
- be proactive in developing new projects relating to the Internet of Things and digitalisation
- knowledge, promotion and sales of all products and services relating to Schaeffler products and services
- develop new business in a changing Industrial market.
Your Qualifications
Education: Degree or diploma qualification in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field
Experience: Relevant experience / knowledge of the rotating equipment or related industries
Minimum five years experience in a customer-focused technical sales role
Knowledge of Schaeffler products and experience with SalesForce are advantageous
Personal Skills: A motivated self-starter who enjoys interacting with end user customers and Authorised distributors
Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to discuss topics at all levels through an organisation
Intermediate to advanced level user of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Project management experience and use of MS Project is advantageous
Identifying new opportunities that deliver value to the business
