- Work closely with the Managing Director to build your presence in marketing and business development whilst continuing to deliver the lion’s share of Victoria’s health projects.
The Role:
- Responsible for design and documentation of medium to large scale Mechanical projects.
- Liaise with clients, architects and the other design teams to deliver design services and advice.
- Lead multi-disciplinary building services teams.
- Ensure smooth delivery of projects by attending meetings and conducting site inspections.
- Ability to develop new, and use existing, relationships to win work and maintain a steady pipeline of projects.
- Play a key role in the planning, budgeting and programming of projects.
- Reporting directly to the Managing Director who has a multitude of experience in delivering Victoria’s top health projects.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior team members.
You:
- 8+ years’ experience working as a Mechanical Engineer in a consultancy environment.
- Local experience of the AUS/NZ market is essential.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Building Code and Standards.
- Experience designing and managing mechanical building services including heating, ventilation, air conditioning and associate services.
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary projects.
- Previous exposure to tertiary education + healthcare projects highly desirable.
