COSMED Asia-Pacific is currently recruiting for a Biomedical Engineer with experience in metabolic systems technology to bring a significant contribution and support to the ongoing company’s growth. Knowledge in respiratory, metabolic and ADP technology would be an advantage.  

Position Profile:

As a Biomedical Engineer you will use your knowledge of human physiology and physics science to support our customers ranging from medical doctors, practitioners, exercise physiologist and researchers. You will be responsible to offer the most up to date instructions on scientific medical organization guidelines and testing protocols, ongoing assistance to biomedical data analysis interpretation as well as set up, technical troubleshooting and service of the medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer support focused on the analysis of biomedical data including but not limited to ventilation and gas exchange parameters, ECG traces, BP values, spirometry curves, body composition parameters.
• Installation of COSMED products including medical devices Biomedical Testing (ISO 15223-1 :2016 standards compliance and Performance Verification Test), software User Acceptance Test (UAT) and Electrical Safety Test.
• Customers/dealers training including devices and software operations as well as scientific background and data interpretation.
• Medical equipment troubleshooting and service including hardware and software components.
• Statistical analysis of product cases and development of engineering software and hardware resolution.
• In-House Service & Repair. Scientific and technical documentation review and update.

Essential requirements:

• Master degree in Biomedical Engineering and/or Clinical Engineering 
• Experience in metabolic systems technology and scientific background with focus on Body Composition devices.
• Advanced communication skills in English. (Italian is a plus).  
• Able to travel frequently (40% of your time)
• Excellent technical and communicational skills
• Determined character, resolute and independent in actions and ideas
• Driving License
