Trehy Ingold Neate (TIN) is seeking the full-time services of a Civil Engineer to join our busy multi-disciplinary practice located at Tuggerah on the Central Coast. TIN provides services to the land development industry including project management, civil design, surveying and town planning. Our clientele ranges from home owners through to national land and property developers.
This role would particularly suit a Civil Engineer who is interested in leading the delivery of engineering services for land development within an experienced design team.
Our ideal candidate must have a degree in civil engineering and eligibility for membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia would be preferable. Ideally you would have demonstrated experience in engineering as it applies to land development, attention to detail, 2 – 5 years’ experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to achieving deadlines.
Broadly (but without limitation) the role would include:
- Leading the Engineering business unit including responsibility for deadlines, budgets and service standards;
- Managing clients’ requirements and expectations;
- Working in and developing a team environment to achieve best practice and client outcomes;
- Consultation and negotiation with authorities and obtaining approvals on best terms;
- Coordinating relevant sub-consultants, contractors and colleagues;
- Problem solving, innovation and lateral thinking;
- Business networking, development and staff mentoring.
