Civil Engineer | Civil Works Associated with Building Structures

As an Engineering Consultant, our client has delivered and is engaged in a range of high profile projects across Australia.  They are known for their commitment to providing innovative solutions to complex projects and pursuing industry best practice. With ongoing success across their business, we are seeking a competent Civil Engineer to join their team to take on a Civil Design role. 

Working in a small team, the key function of your role will be to produce civil design and documentation whilst working within a team environment.  In addition to your Civil Design & Drafting function you will be responsible for handling RFI's, liaising with external consultants and authorities and site visits as appropriate through the construction phase.  As you progress your career there is the added opportunity for you to take a lead role on your projects.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
• Have demonstrated experience in the Design of Civil Engineering elements related to major commercial developments -  Carpark & Pavement, earthworks, drainage infrastructure, detention systems, retaining walls etc
• Be competent in the use of Civil Engineering Software packages, preferably Civil 3d and AutoCAD
• Provide complete Civil Design & Analysis supported by full sets of civil engineering details and drawings  
• Have good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment and engage with external parties as required
