Adaptapack is a market leading manufacture of end of line packaging equipment (Adaptapack is a division of Walls Machinery).
We have expnaded and require a new Design Engineer to join our dedicated team of awesome designers. In this role you will be designing and working with state of the art, cutting edge robotic technology.

Qualifications and experience required:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma – sound mechanical calculations ability
- Comprehensive working knowledge of machine safety requirements is essential in this role.
- Manuel writting expereince
- As a minimum 3 to 4 years full-time experience in producing detail design and assembly drawings of industrial machines (hands on experience building machines would give you a distinct advantage in this position)
- Must be proficient in the use of SolidWorks with 3 to 4 years experience in 3D Design as well as a sound ability to produce comprehensive 2D drawings for manufacturing and assembly
- Experience in creating, pneumatic and electrical drawings coupled with your experience with conveyor systems, pick and place robot integration would be an added advantage in this role
