Our projects are located mostly in regional areas, with occasional metro and interstate projects, on a variety of commercial and industrial developments, such as bulk storage facilities, warehousing, commercial buildings and civil works.

The person we are looking for will join our team as a junior Engineer with no more than 2 years exposure to a construction environment, will be inquisitive by nature and demonstrate a practical and creative approach to problem solving. This entry level role will:
- Assist with the technical and practical design and construct elements of industrial and commercial projects up to $20 M value
- Track and monitor the budget and all subcontractor payments and client claims
- Anticipate safety considerations in all design and procurement aspects
- Monitor compliance of subcontractors against Q's safety expectations
- Support the Projects with co-ordination of program and resourcing schedules
- Assist with procurement of all required materials & subcontractors
- Prepare project documentation and procedures from concept to commissioning
You will become a technical contributor to projects on-site, supporting Site Supervisors, subcontractors and the Project Manager to deliver the project safely, on time and within budget, with an expected high quality and high level of service to our clients, many who are ongoing & repeat customers.
Your awareness of the construction process, collaborative mindset and passion for improvement is the key contribution of this role where you will be supported by an experienced Project Management team. Applicants must have an open mind and willingness to work hard, continually learn, develop and improve the way things are done.
Other requirements of this role includes:
- Engineering or construction qualification
- Awareness of Australian Building Codes, Standards and Regulations
