The role
We are currently seeking a talented Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Roads and Highways team in Geelong.
Duties will include but won’t be limited to; engineering design, detailing, documentation, proposal preparation, field investigation, data collation, analysis and reporting.
The holder of this position will also develop skills in project management, co-ordination, communication with contractors, suppliers and other industry personnel, expediting, scheduling, cost control and marketing SMEC’s services to clients
Suitable applicants will have/be:
- A degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum distinction average or related post graduate work experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A interest in pursuing a career in a consultancy environment
- Able to undertake travel where needed (domestic and international)
