About Our Role
In response to continuing growth GHD is currently seeking Pavement Engineers with around 3 - 10 years experience to join us. Working within the Geotechnical and Transport group, this is an opportunity to broaden your skill base by working within a multi-discipline engineering environment committed to delivering our client's objectives.
Key responsibilities
As a Pavement Engineer, you will work on a range of road, rail and aviation projects to:
- Conduct, oversee and arrange pavement investigations on site
- Arrange and oversee laboratory testing for pavement investigations
- Develop pavement designs and detailed pavement modelling
- Provide inputs into pavement specifications
- Support project managers, design managers and senior pavement engineers on pavement related aspects of a project.
Skills and experience required
- Degree qualifications in Civil or Pavement Engineering
- Initiative and a passion for the Pavements field.
- The ability to manage competing demands and support business needs and goals.
- Strong commercial acumen,
- The ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues alike in both written and verbal forms.
