We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler to join our team in within the Victorian Network. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for interpreting customers approved specifications, structural and architectural drawings and produce work schedules ready for manufacture and delivery. The role will also include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Preparation of estimates, bar schedules detailing diameters, grades, shape of bars for production
  • Accurately take off reinforcing steel and preparation of cutting list (works schedule) of reinforcing for manufacture and delivery
  • Communicate with customers, production, site personal and sales
  • Actively promote our products and services to customers to generate maximum sales and margins

You will have the choice to be based at one of the following branches, however require to train at Sunshine North:

  • Sunshine North
  • Melton
  • Campbellfield
  • Pakenham
  • Geelong
  • Traralgon

To Be Successful

  • Minimum 1 year as an estimator for building materials
  • High level computer skills, AutoCAD would be an advantage
  • Possess practical and structural knowledge of products and services within the construction and building industry
  • Customer orientated with both internal and external customers
  • Work in team environment that fosters getting the job done
  • Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised
  • Familiarity with all types of structural drawings for construction including domestic, residential, multi-storey and civil works
