Dioxide Pacific is an industry leader in design and construction of chemical dosing and water treatment systems for municipal and industrial applications.
Dioxide Pacific has been involved behind the scenes in an exciting project for a first of its kind metals recovery plant which has recently moved into the detailed design and construction stage.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Engineer to join our team for the duration of this contract (approx 10-12 months) with an aim to extend upon successful completion. Reporting to the General Manager and Director, your job role will consist of the following parts:
- Management of design and construct project.
- Procurement
- Participate in detailed design of chemical and mechanical processes. (Lead by experienced design engineers).
- Other agreed projects.
We are looking for someone with the following skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- High degree of organisation and efficiency.
- High focus on documentation accuracy.
- Understanding of OH&S procedures and documentation.
- Happy to travel for short periods.
- Competence with:
- Microsoft office software
- Adobe Acrobat
- Autocad LT
- Understanding of:
- Chemical dosing and water treatment processes.
- Pumping, hydraulics and electrical systems.
- Process control systems
- Ability to develop:
- Project documentation.
- Site safety documentation.
- Operation and Maintenance Manuals.

This role is ideally suited for a chemical or electrical engineer, with multiple years’ project management experience working in a water treatment/chemical dosing related industry. You will be supported by experienced design engineers and other industrial systems professionals throughout the project.
This role will predominantly be office based, but some work may require travel for short periods.
