The Company
Well established almost 30 years within Mining and Earth Works industry
Excellent safety record, annual average of 800 000+ man hours with around 500 employees during Earth works season.
In house modified plant fleet focusing on safety and productivity for the 24 hour 265 day operation, Turnover in excess of $100m per annum.
They have recently received Prequalification Vic Roads R4, B3 and F150
The Role:
Civil Construction Manager required to drive and develop the construction side of the business,
With the successful mining and earthwork projects running smoothly and efficiently they are branching out.
They are looking for somebody with a varied background who is experienced in mining but can also drive Vic Roads projects around Melbourne.
Most of projects are around Gippsland, they aim to branch out to Melbourne focusing on Vic Roads, also teaming up with Tier 1 & 2 Builders to supply Earthwork services.
Project values range from $1m to $150 million.
The successful candidate will have:
- Have over 10 year’s experience in the Civil industry, including working in a Senior level role managing multiple projects
- BS degree in Construction Management /Civil Engineering or related field
- Expert knowledge of Civils & Constructions relevant rules, regulations, quality and OH&S standards
- Be able to effectively lead, manage and coach a team, as well as develop team members
- Have strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to influence others
- Be self-driven and able to contribute to the growth of the company
