CNC OPERATOR/MACHINIST  

Keppel Prince Engineering are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to program and operate CNC Lathes and Milling Machines. This is a permanent position based out of Portland Victoria.

REQUIREMENTS: The successful applicant will hold the below skills, experience and qualifications.

• Sound understanding and ability to apply OHS principles to work with the safety of yourself and your colleagues in mind at all times
• A minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience using Automated CNC Tools & Equipment in a metal manufacturing environment with trade qualifications and/or MEM07015B Certificate highly desirable
• Use and understand Master Cam software and cad drafting
• Ability to program and operate CNC Machines – Essential that you must be able to program and operate Fanuc controlled lathes and mills and willing to learn and coach others
• Be willing to understand and be able to meet requirements of ISO 9001:2015
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• Be prompt and efficient
• Reliable and punctual
• Have a professional attitude and a sound work ethic
• Work to high standards and have pride in your work with excellent problem-solving skills
• Full Drivers Licence
• Forklift (LF) Licence

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our project team at Keppel Prince Engineering.

Based in Portland Victoria, the ideal applicant will have recently completed their degree and have a keen interest in Project Management, Manufacturing and Maintenance. NDT TECHNICIAN   

Keppel Prince Engineering is currently seeking applications from qualified persons to work within its

Non-Destructive Testing Division.

The position may involve shift work and will require the individual to work across multiple sites. It is expected that applicants will be able to work to a high standard, keeping in mind a strong focus on Quality and Safety principles.

Applicants need to demonstrate through previous employment qualities of:

• High commitment and execution to OHS requirements
• Reliability with a strong work ethic
• Team work amongst the demands of a dynamic work environment
• Capability of working alone
• Willingness to work and contribute in a flexible and harmonious team environment

The successful candidate shall:

• Possess ISO9712 Level 2 Certification in VT, MT, and UT
• Ensure that equipment is calibrated and maintained in a serviceable condition at all times
• Be able to complete professional reports for clients
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
• Adhere to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements at all times

Desirable but not essential are candidates that possess ISO 9712 Certification to Level 2 ET and PISI.
