This position is ideal for someone who is looking to take the next step into a Principal Process Engineer position for a leading Engineering design consultancy that specialize in Mining projects.
The client is looking for a Senior leader that can run with projects and manage the team in the absence of the Process Manager.

Our client is an Engineering Design consultancy that specialize in Mining projects. They run a full project life cycle from feasibility studies, detail design, commissioning and construction.
Description
The main responsibilities of the position will be to support the Process Manager and take a leading role on several ongoing projects. You will be in charge of a variety of projects and also run with a lot of smaller studies.
The role is going to be very autonomous and it will be up to you how you manage your time and projects and there will be no micromanagement involved.
The position will also include;
- Putting together proposals as well as doing detail design and the peer review.
- Running the team in the Process Managers absence and when running projects will oversee individuals and be responsible for them.
- Training, coaching and development of Junior/Graduate Process Engineers.
- Business development, chasing leads, building relationships with clients and trying to win new opportunities.
Profile
To be successful for this position you must be;
- Degree qualified in Metallurgy
- 10 - 15 years experience in the industry.
- Ideally you will have some operational experience as well as design.
- Experienced in running with projects and developing Junior Engineers.

The client is paying an attractive salary package which is made up of a generous base salary + superannuation.
