The Role:
This role is responsible for efficient and effective control of waste water treatment management & waste management systems:
  • Environmental sampling and reporting
  • Regular water sampling/analysis
  • Wastewater treatment block management including:
- Crop preparation
- Irrigation scheduling
- Organisation of contractors
  • Maintenance of water treatment instrumentation
  • Managing water storage
  • Assisting maintenance department
  • Waste management including:
- Reviewing contracts and seeking discounts where possible
- Arranging bulk glass removal
- Waste disposal and recycling
- Ensuring enough bins for waste being generated and consulting with waste services
 
Ideally candidates with possess the following:
  • Drivers Licence
  • Forklift Licence is desirable
  • Chem Cert is desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of farming / agricultural practices is desirable.
  • Experience working with waste water treatment is desirable
  • Ability to work unsupervised, manage own hours and tasks.
  • Problem solving ability with strong communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills (to record and review data).
Remuneration will be based on the level of relevant experience.
