Client
We are working with a well regarded international multi discipline engineering consultant that delivers a range of engineering services to the transport, buildings, resources & environment sectors.

About the Role
Reporting to the Civil Lead, this position will focus on the strategic planning & delivery of road network corridors. The role will involve technical engineering, project management and stakeholder interface.

This position will also have the opportunity to lead and manage engineering and technical staff on transport infrastructure projects.

Key Criteria
To be considered for the role applicants would need to demonstrate the following experience and skills:

• Qualified Transport and Network Planning engineer with engineering qualifications recognised by Engineers Australia and eligible for MIEAust
• Sound knowledge of road network planning processes and demonstrated ability in managing road network planning projects.
• Good technical knowledge and ability in undertaking traffic analysis including forecasting techniques and capacity analysis.
• Multi modal transport planning (including public transport) experience highly regarded.
• Technical knowledge of ITS application including design and concept of operations of managed freeways.
• Knowledge of road/highway design an advantage
• Able to interface with stakeholders. Strong reporting skills
