This vital role, you’ll be an integral member of the management team, overseeing the full scope of the engineering/maintenance/landscaping operations. You will manage the department's daily activities while you plan and organize work, communicate goals, and schedule employees to ensure proper coverage.
Responsibility includes ensuring the staff is properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to carry out their job duties. You will educate/train employees on current safety issues to ensure compliance with federal state and local laws and safety regulations. You may assist with other duties as assigned and serve as "manager on duty" as required while maintaining and repairing the interior and exterior of buildings, hotel rooms and contents; ensuring the execution and achievement of the hotel’s preventive maintenance program goals.
Ideally, you’ll need to have a minimum 2 years experience in a role equivalent to a Director of Engineering, excellent communication skills, written and oral with proficiency in English, and computer literate. Good project management experience is highly desirable.
