IME Consultants (IMEC) provide top tier engineering support to our global client base in mining & minerals across Gold, Nickel, Copper and the Iron sectors. We offer our clients full EPCM services through the combination of our teams international site experience & engineering expertise with our customer-centric approach to continually deliver on our clients project expectations.
We currently work with clients across Australia, SE Asia, UK, Europe and Africa, with our main functions being based out of Perth and Europe.
Due to our strong continued growth, we are looking to engage a structural/civil engineer on a full-time basis to join the team, working out of our Perth office.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Working under the direction of the Engineering Manager
- Work in association with Senior Structural/Civil Engineer.
- Undertake structural design, documentation and construction support work on engineering projects through all project phases
- Ad hoc site visits to provide engineering support during construction/commissioning of IMEC designs (infrequent as required)
- Managing work packages from design to final submission to our clients.
- Work with in house design drafting team to provide input/engineering support
Experience & Qualifications
The successful applicant will have:
- Bachelor of Engineering – Structural or equivalent
- Resource/mining sector experience is a plus.
- 5-6 years' experience as a Structural/Civil Engineer in a similar environment.
- Able to deliver technical engineering packages of work autonomously
- Experience with SpaceGass is a must.
- Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written, open communication;
